The Fee-Based Before School Program, sponsored by the Douglas County School System, is designed to provide adult supervision, in a group setting, to students whose parents work outside the home before school hours.

All students must be pre-registered to attend the after-school program. Registration is online only. All registration is set up as drop-in contracts for all program sites. Students will not be allowed to stay after school.

The Before School Program does not provide educational services to students and is not intended to be an educational program. Instead, group activities in which students participate include movement, homework, computer games, and story time.

All before-school programs in the Douglas County School System are registered with Bright from the Start, a Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning department. The school system programs are exempt from licensure, and letters of exemption are posted in the school office.

The program is open before school until 9 am when school is in session. A $10 registration fee per family and tuition is $5 per child per day. BSP fees must be pre-paid; due before the child stays in the program.*There is a 3.96% credit card processing fee applied per transaction made on online payments with credit card or ACH electronic payments.

This system is intended to be registration, attendance, and payment processing software. **** NOTE TO PARENTS *** You must notify the school in writing of changes. Be sure to send a note to the school when you have a chance.
